Remarkable Places to Eat

Last October, the production behind the popular BBC2 programme ‘Remarkable Places to Eat‘ got in touch to discuss the possibility of filming in and around the New Forest.

Fast forward six months and the episode aired featuring Chris Bavin and Fred Sirieix visit some of our great local New Forest restaurants and pubs.

Highlights included a visit to various New Forest Marque members including The Pig and meeting James Golding, the Group Chef Director (and Ambassador) where he cooks wood fired pannage pork.

They also visited the New Forest Smokery to see how their amazing trout pate is produced and enjoyed a stroll around Lymington with a meal at The Elderflower restaurant.
