View the guidelines for filming in the New Forest.

If you enquire to film at one of the private locations on our database, we will contact the location on your behalf (with the filming details you supply to us) and if the location owner is happy to agree in principle to the filming, then we will introduce you to each other (normally via email) and leave it to the owner to negotiate any filming fees etc.

If the planned filming location is on New Forest District Council land; the Film:New Forest team can work with the various council departments to facilitate your permission to film.

Typically, a fee will only be charged for filming on council land if there is a cost implication on our side, such as the closure of a council car park. Clarification can be given on a project-by-project basis from the Film:New Forest team.

There are over 50 pay and display car parks within the New Forest, that include coastal parking as well as town and village centre parking.
