Find out what it means to be a filming location
In partnership with Creative England we are hosting a ‘Locations Event’ at Careys Manor Hotel (Brockenhurst) on Thursday 11 October where you can find out what it means to be a filming location.
Film and TV drama shooting on location can spend up to £40,000 per day in an area on local goods and services. With the recent success of ITV’s Unforgotten and Channel 4 documentary A Year in the New Forest, we are seeking to expand our New Forest filming locations database.
The event is for local property owners to find out how your property can be promoted for filming and what to expect when a film crew arrives.
The session is aimed at local land owners, hoteliers, attractions, local residents owning properties such as pubs, warehouses, cottages, mansions, churches – anyone who would be interested to welcome filming opportunities and earn money through location fees.
This is a free to attend event but please ensure you preregister your attendance.
