Lymington
The historic town of Lymington is an ancient seaport with a rich maritime and architectural history.
Situated on the west bank of the Lymington River, on the edge of the Solent, Lymington is a major yachting centre with three marinas. There is also an open-air sea water bath.
At the top of the High Street sits the Church of St Thomas. Whilst Quay Hill, at the end of the high street leads down to the harbour.
Lymington and Pennington Town Council manage the allotments, various parks and play areas plus sports facilities.

Lymington High Street
The Georgian High Street is the venue for a well-known street-market every Saturday morning. There is also the golden post box in honour of Ben Ainslie’s fifth gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics.
The top of the High Street sits St Thomas Church and overlooks the marina and Quay Hill at the bottom of the High Street.
Quay Hill
Quay Hill is an historic cobbled street leading from the high street down to the harbour. It has featured in many productions, most recently ITV’s Unforgotten series.
Pylewell Park
Pylewell Park is a historic country house, with 13 bedrooms (most en-suite), drawing room, dining room, kitchen, pantry and study.
The house is set in 27 acres of gardens and has 60 acres of parkland leading down to the private access to the beach overlooking the Solent and Isle of Wight. It has several lakes with a stunning collection of plants and trees
Truffles of Lymington
This olde fashioned sweet shop is situated in a Grade 2 listed Georgian building. A long narrow ground floor with beams made from ships. It has one accessible cellar as well as the shop floor and there is a large stock room. This could be a great location for any shop scene.
