Known as the northern gateway to The New Forest, Fordingbridge is a small riverside town built on the banks of the River Avon.

A key landmark of the town is the medieval bridge, upstream from the ford, with its seven graceful arches that span the river. A bronze statue of the painter and former resident Augustus John stands on the banks of the Avon near the bridge

The town has beautiful scenery, nature havens and cycleways. The Avon Valley Path, a 34 mile footpath passes through the town.

The Fordingbridge Museum, which houses local history exhibits, is located in King's Yard. There is also a Roman villa in the nearby village of Rockbourne.

Caxton House is a Georgian period grade II listed apartment situated on the High Street. This characterful and quirky three bedroom Georgian apartment is set out over two floors with Victorian conservatory and is available as a filming location.

The Regal Cinema

Regal Cinema FordingbridgeThe Regal Cinema is a deluxe 30 seater cinema which opened in the Summer of 2017 and is managed by the Fordingbridge Regal Cinema Club (FRCC). The Art Deco building has been transformed into its former 1930’s glory.  In addition to the original foyer entrance there is a deluxe 30 seater auditorium and an elegant bar area.
