How could we deliver the Awards evening without the Presenters?
For the 2019 Awards Ceremony at Brockenhurst College we will be in the esteemed company of these fine people, all involved in the film and TV industries that entertain us all year round.
Presenters for the Film Awards Evening:
Steve will be presenting the Best International Narrative Short and is also on the judging panel.
Jen is the owner of Alphadu Productions, an independent film production house which has produced or co-produced over 50 international award-winning films since 2016.
Currently Jen is producing a feature documentary, and producing two films surrounding post traumatic stress disorder in first responders, stemming from her years as a paramedic, along with numerous other projects.
Jen is one of the Founders of the Berkshire Short Film Festival, she has six films touring the film festival circuit and is the humble servant to her American Foxhound Mack.
Jen won the Best in Festival Award at the New Forest Film Festival in 2018 and has kindly agreed to visit us this time and present the award for the Best Zero-Budget Short.
Craig will be presenting the Best International Comedy Short and is also on the judging panel.
Gary will be presenting the Best Student Horror Short and is also on the judging panel.
Andy was last year's Best Sci-Fi Winner and will be presenting the Best Student Sci-Fi Short he is also on the judging panel.
Keith will be presenting Best New Forest Uni Student Short he is also on the judging panel.
Lisi Tribble Russell
Lisi will be presenting International Horror Category she is also on the judging panel.
Di Roberts, CBE
Di has been Principal and Chief Executive of Brockenhurst College since 2006. With a staff of 700, Brockenhurst College provides education and training to nearly 2500 full-time 16-18 year olds studying A levels and vocational qualifications, 700 apprentices and 7500 mainly part-time adults. The College also has a significant Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision. With sites across the New Forest and in Southampton the College works with over 300 local and regional businesses. The College attracts 150 full-time international students from 30 countries each year and has also delivered A level education in two schools in China for a number of years. The College has a well-established and innovative shared services company set up in partnership with Bournemouth and Poole College.
Di taught for over twenty five years across the ability levels and has significant experience in education, training and business, including time as an Ofsted Inspector. She was Deputy Chair of the Association of Colleges (AoC) from 2009 to 2015 and currently chairs the national AoC SEN Group. In 2011, in recognition of her services to further education, Di was awarded a CBE.
We welcome her as a presenter for the Audience Favourite Award.
